Plymouth Rock DeMolay

What is DeMolay!!?!

The key to fun, friendship and a successful, productive life is DeMolay. If you have been searching for a way to have fun, make new friends and learn leadership and decision-making skills, you owe it to yourself to check out DeMolay, the international service organization for young men ages 12 to 21.

WHAT MAKES DEMOLAY THE KEY?
DeMolay is an oranization dedicated to preparing young men to lead successful, happy, and productive lives. Basing its approach on timeless principles and practical, hands-on experience, DeMolay opens doors for young men aged 12 to 21 by developing the civic awareness, personal responsibility and leardership skills so vitally needed in society today. DeMolay combines this serious mission with a fun approach that builds important bonds of friendship among members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide. DeMolay alumni include Walt Disney, John Wayne, Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, football Hall-of-Famer Fran Tarkenton, legendary Nebraska football coach Tom Osborne, news anchor David Goodnow and many others.

HOW DOES DEMOLAY WORK?
DeMolay chapters are run by fellow DeMolays...guys just like you. They meet twice a month and decide on their own activities and programs. they play a lot of sports- softball, basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and more. They organize and participate in dances and social events. They do community service and fund-raising projects. Adult advisors are available to help, but YOU make the decisions and plan the activities ON YOUR OWN.

IS DEMOLAY A RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION?
No. Although it encourages an active belief in God, DeMolay is not sponsored by any church or religious organization. Your own beliefs are respected and encouraged. Membership is open for young men from all religions.

HOW DO I TAKE THIS KEY?
The only requirements for membership in DeMolay are that you be between the ages of 12 and 21 and be of good moral character and reputation. If it sounds like you, contact your nearest DeMolay chapter( e-mails are listed in "contact us") and ask to come to the next guest night. You'll be glad you did.
